Post-Apocalyptic Surreal Image

This was a project of redemption for me. I wanted to make a surreal image and decided I wanted to shed light on the anthropogenic destruction of our environment. I took many nature pictures and replaced the advertising with images of nature to show that the world in this image is dying or dead.

This is the original image before any editing. It was taken in Times Square, NYC.

This was the first version, I had an idea of where the project was going. I wanted it to feel more post-apocalyptic and to arrange some of the billboards differently.

This is the final product.
